For more than 200 years Nav’s family have been working in jewellery, designing and making unique pieces that are passed down for generations.  “We come from a lineage of jewellers.  I want to honour that tradition,” explains Nav, who manages Gold & Gems, a family business established by his mother. 

Gold & Gems specialise in creating custom designed pieces for their clients.  They work with you to make the piece you want.  “It’s about creating your vision, and reflecting what you want in a piece,” says Nav.

At Gold & Gems, Nav and the team love being part of their customers’ precious moments, creating special jewellery for family celebrations and milestones.

Gold & Gems has a long history in Oakleigh, and that means they see multiple generations of their customers’ families.  They also specialise in jewellery repairs and restoration, and they can be involved in fixing a treasured piece of family jewellery or creating heirlooms that are passed down through the generations.

The family business has been in Oakleigh for many years, returning to the community after about ten years in another location.  “What’s brought us back to Oakleigh Central is the culture, the people and that it is a landmark for the area,” says Nav.
